At OpsKitTools, we believe your data belongs exclusively to you. All utilities labeled as "Client-Side" (such as our JSON Formatter, YAML Validator, JWT Decoder, Base64 Tool, Minifiers, UUID Generator, and CHMOD Calculator) execute strictly within your browser's local JavaScript runtime.
Your tokens, cryptographic keys, database connection strings, and code snippets are never transmitted to our servers, logged to remote databases, or shared with third parties.
2. Server-Side Diagnostic Tools
For tools that query public internet infrastructure (such as our SSL Certificate Checker, DNS Lookup Tool, and HTTP Header Checker), our server issues a direct network request to the target domain or IP provided. We do not persist or store the query parameters or results in any permanent database.
3. LocalStorage & Preferences
OpsKitTools uses your browser's localStorage solely to remember your UI preferences, such as:
- Dark / Light color theme selection.
- Your list of starred (favorited) tools.
- Recently accessed tools for your convenience.
This data stays on your device and can be cleared at any time via your browser settings.
